New users are very important to the wiki so say hi and make them feel welcome. You can post the welcome template on their talk page. (type {{subst:Welcome|your username}} to add it) or you can leave your own message. Try to be nice to the new users and assume good faith whenever possible. Everyone was new once and they may not understand how everything works and what they are allowed to post.
To find new users go to the user creation log and look for users with contribs and no talk page. You can also consider watching the Help:FAQ page, adding your name here or adding the helper userbox to your profile if you want to help answer questions.
