The most I've seen in a room (room 1) is 105. Things get buggy if you have more than 80 or 90 mice in a room. Eventually the map disappears for all the people logged in, and in order to show the objects in the map, you need to completely reload the page. I like the idea of the speed records for each map, but wouldn't it be better if we add a minimum amount of mice in the room (20 for example)? Because in some maps it's much easier to set a record when you're with fewer mice, or even when you're alone. [Rebirth]

It would be nice to see a list of recent updates on the front page as well as what the creators have hinted is coming on their Twitter feed. For example there is suposed to be an update tomorrow.

I like this idea, maybe we can have an Updates page, and on the homepage we can show most recent updates + link to the page.

Locked Page & Outdated info

It was suggested earlier (Look up a few lines) that the front page include some templates that contained the up-to-date information, like the game version number and the map numbers. I agree with that, because the information on the front page happens to be outdated, but locked. That's not very nice. Some people still use Internet Explorer. Some people, LIKE MYSELF, also use Opera Browser. Why is this relevant? Because...THE TEXT BANNER LOOKS LIKE SHITE IN OPERA TOO. My opinion is that if it can be fixed it should be because there are many misguided users with IE. My screenshot was with IE8. --Mouserone 04:10, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Images

Well, the Shaman and Mice pictures are low - quality, any chance replacing them with better ones? the same goes for Ranks, Shaman items and Maps. --Tsurara 13:47, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Protection

Can we change the protection on the mainpage to autoconfirmed? That stops the spam by IP and new accounts, but allows everyone else to edit the mainpage and improve it / change the version, etc. Kjhf 13:12, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Sorry but no. We've had way too many problems with main page vandalism in the past and it's a super visible page. Also right now autoconfirmed means nothing. As soon as someone creates an account they are autoconfirmed meaning that anyone who can create an account could vandalize the main page. If we ever get the user group rights changed the template protection will probably be removed but in my opinion the main page should always be fully protected. --Mouserone 13:47, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey how do i know what votes people did on my map? like yes or no?

I have some free time on my hands and I'm somewhat of a perfectionist, so the incorrect font on the transformice wiki logo, etc irritates me. Basically I want to remedy this and make some improved images. I noticed I can simply edit the source images for the main page which I have done but there's no such thing for the logo in the top left corner, so how would I go about getting that changed?-The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Lighta (talk).

I felt this would be the best place to discuss this...
With the introductions of the forums, the secret Identities of mods have been revealed... I'm kidding. However in the Administrator Group of the forum, we see 2 additional (rare) posters. Bill is also from France, and is the server developer. Not sure who Lei is yet. Question is, should these people be included in the wiki somewhere, or should things settle a bit first? Shadowisback on room TROLLS

Hi, I ask for a favour. On the kongregate.com server thetre is a popular room called room TROLLS. We are asking if you could prhaps create a wiki page on room TROLLS (capital letters on TROLLS btw) as it would publicise our room even more. The room, as the name suggests is a troll room in which the shaman must kill the mice. If amice survives or enters the hole with cheese then the mice win, if not then the shammy wins. Shamans must help the mice if the lvl is untrollable but shammies on double maps can n ot kill eachother. Shamans can not block the path to the hole or cheese unless there is another root avauilable or another hole/cheese.

We basically would like a page on the Transformice wiki to advertise the room and state the rules. Please reply soon

Can you please add an useful links section on the main page? it will help a lot. example: formice.com(ranks site), transformice forums, transformice servers, sites for creating forum avatars and signatures, the fansite people used to expand the wiki (not mine) http://transformice.niaou.fr/ and some more useful links which will be sugested in the future. Ty,Niviman.^^

I don't think it is needed, maybe official sites can be placed here Transformice, but we shouldn't support fansites. In my opinion other sites shouldn't be at the front page. - CirKel 14:33, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
