The mousehole is an area on all maps, where the mice bring the cheese after picking it up. There are 3 types of mouseholes: Regular (Grey), Blue, and Pink. Mice must bring cheese back to the mouse hole in order to complete the level.

Regular Mouseholes

Regular mouseholes are the standard mouseholes found on most maps. There can be 1 or multiple mouseholes per map. It does not matter which mousehole the mice enter but some holes may be easier to reach than others. Maps with regular mouseholes can have no shaman or 1 shaman. The shaman on the map will receive a number of points equal to the number of mice that entered a hole with cheese.

Pink and blue mouseholes will always appear together on a map. There will only be one of each and there will never be a regular, gray mousehole on the same map. There will also always be two shamans, one pink and one blue. The shamans will receive a number of point equals to twice the number of mice entering their hole and no points for mice entering the other hole. As a result the shamans often fight each other for the mice's cheese. Usually a shaman will try cannoning the opposing shaman or even try blocking their mousehole, leaving no choice for players but to go into their own.

Annoyingly, some people have trouble telling the difference between the pink and blue holes. This causes problems for them, especially when they have just blocked off their own hole in a Shaman Battle level.
